About Resume Optimizer

Resume Optimizer started with a simple frustration: most resume tools either lock basic formatting behind a paywall, or lean on AI in ways that quietly invent experience you never had. We built Resume Optimizer to do the opposite -- a resume builder, ATS checker, and job matcher that never puts words in your mouth, and that works fully even with no AI configured at all.

Every AI-assisted suggestion is a draft you explicitly review and accept -- nothing is auto-applied to your resume, and the AI is instructed to never invent an employer, title, degree, skill, date, or metric you didn't provide. The ATS score and job-match score are estimates from a transparent, deterministic scoring engine, not a black box, and they never promise a specific outcome like an interview or an offer.

Your resumes are private by default. Nothing is published to a public link unless you explicitly choose to publish it, and you can unpublish at any time.
